Celebrations

It has been a months since I updated the blog. But we had some technical difficulties. Blogger made me upgrade to some google stuff and since then I was not able to upload photos. And I know, how much you all love to just read my earth shaking thoughts on the world, life in general and our family in particular. But I would not do that to you without the sprinkling of a few pictures. I am trying today a new method and keep my fingers crossed that it works. A lot has happened in this last month. We had Nicola’s 40th birthday celebration and with that my first 4 tier cake. I think it turned out great. A few weeks before I practiced with just 2 tiers. And I am glad I did, I learned a lot! Marlene started playing T-Ball. These pictures are from her first practice session. This upcoming Saturday she will have her first game. And then, off course, we celebrated Amelia’s 2nd birthday. It was a small celebration with just Mummy, Daddy, Marlene, and Grans because Amelia was pretty sick and the big party we had planned would have been too much. We still had a great chocolate cake, balloons, and enough presents to keep her busy for a while. Last but not least, the night after Amelia’s birthday I went with my friend Julie to New York. We had a great week with just ourselves and no schedules, but that will be an other blog.
